Male lip syncing test shoot

Male Lip Syncing –

 We held a trial session and we organised to meet with one boy, we felt he would fit out brief as we need someone of darker skin, as the song was originally performed like this, we also felt he is a good fit for what we need. We will have a lot of close up shots of his lips and then a few mid to long shots of his full body, therefore we want him to be confident. We understand we will have to practise and hold rehearsals, but for a first run through where he did not get the chance to learn the lyrics we felt it went pretty well. Having done a test shoot with him, as a group we think he will be able to pull of the part perfectly so we have emailed him and am currently waiting to hear back, as well as this we have requested he starts to learn the lyrics so that come shoot day and our next rehearsal he can focus 100% on acting, not just learning the words.
