Feedback Idea 2 – The Wombats
What went well:
People liked the idea of having the band members dress up in masks as it adds
another thing to look at and the references to different songs. My feedback was
positive from some people, as they liked the idea of it being a journey and the
band making a night of it. The recording studio was also a positive however I
would need to adapt it to make it more interesting and have more going on.
What needs to be
improved/Thought about in more detail?
Adding one more
part to it similarly to my previous idea there is not quite enough visual
things to look at and keep viewers engaged. I also realised it might be
difficult to find a bar location to film in and its not that accessible. On top of this I received queries about an all
male band dressing up and trying on costumes as being a stereotypically feminine
thing to do therefore maybe not suiting this particular bands style and ideologies
of them being “the lads” out and having a good time.
